AnuarDan, a Malaysian artist, has cleverly put together local artefact and the Malay architecture to give rise to works depicting the Malay heritage. His innovative use of mixed media and the effect of aging that he creates add charm to his works.

Skamlingsbanken is a large hill located in Vejstrup Parish, Jutland, Denmark betweenKolding and Christiansfeld. With a peak rising to 113 metres (371 ft) above sea level, it is the highest point in Southern Jutland.

The bank of the hill is 2 to 3 kilometres (1.2 to 1.9 mi) long and was created during the ice age with clay pushed up the Little Belt Strait from a nearby glacier. Several major historic public meetings took place here during and after the disputes over the territory ofSchleswig-Holstein. When peace returned, there was an exchange of territories between the kingdom and the Duchy of Southern Jutland. As a result, eight non-Jutland parishes in the northern part of Tyrstrup Herred, including Vejstrup Parish, were transferred to the kingdom and Skamlingsbanken thereafter fell within the borders of Denmark.

A very interesting postcard reached my mailbox today. Unfortunately, the sender was not able to tell me something about this awesome rock formation.

I tried looking for some facts about skalní města. I thought that its a town or city in Czech Republic. I found out that “skalní města” means “rock city”. It is consists of:
The Adrspach Rocks, The Errant Rocks (Bledne Skaly),
The Hruboskalsko Rock Town, The Ostas, The Prachov Rocks, The Pravcice Gate (Pravčická brána), Szczeliniec Wielki (The Fissured Rocks), The Tisa Walls (Tiske steny), The Teplice Rocks.

i find this place very interesting. There are really great places in the world that is “underrated”.
